We know that everyone is craving for Mr. Ethan Blackstone as much as we do. And since Eyes Wide Open will not be available until May 14th 2013, the ever generous Raine Miller has posted 4 teasers from the book and we thought of putting it all together here for your viewing pleasure.

Just a few reminders before indulging yourselves into these smexy addicting teasers:

  1. Keep your kleenex handy because DROOLING IS NOT OPTION. Its given.
  2. You might need a cold shower after Teaser #4.
  3. There's a lot of "panty melting moments" so i'd rather you not wear any panties at all!
  4. If you have fallen hard with Ethan, well this time, prepare to fall harder...hardest i guess?

You've been warned!

Teaser #1

I don’t know what compelled me to open my eyes. Probably the breathing on my face smelling faintly of jam, but regardless, I now understand why horror movies with children in them are without a doubt, the most terrifying films of all. There is nothing quite like a silent child staring at you while you’re sleeping, or even better, when you wake up.

Some questions come to mind pretty fuckin’ quick. Like how long have you been standing there watching over me like one of the ill-fated Grady sisters from The Shining ?

Scared the ever-living shit out of me for about two seconds.

And then she smiled.

“Uncle Ethan is awake!” she yelled at the top of her lungs as she ran to the door, flinging it wide open on the hinges.

Ethan--Eyes Wide Open

Teaser #2

Despite the whole mess tonight, he had me in his arms and underneath him, his commanding strength taking charge in the way he’d done with me from the beginning.

Holding me safe.

That night on the street where he’d coaxed me into his car and then later with the phone calls demanding I acknowledge him, were just the start of my understanding of Ethan Blackstone. There was so much more to the man than I ever imagined back then.

I wasn't going anywhere. I was in love with him.

“I want my cock in you all night long,” he rasped, his blue eyes flashing against the moonlight as he moved.

Brynne, Eyes Wide Open~

Teaser #3

“Th—thank you for coming to f—f—find me,” she chattered, her lips looking more blue than anything. She was chilled and shivering so I took off my shirt and put it on over hers hoping the extra layer would warm her a little.

She was compliant, allowing me to take charge and that was a massive relief. Taking care of her was something I could do. I didn’t need much, just the assurance she wanted my help. Wanted me.
“I’ll always find you.” I picked her up and started walking down the long drive of Stonewell Court to where I’d parked outside of the gate. She closed her eyes and put her palm on my chest.

Right over my heart.

It always amazed me at how easy it was to carry her. I knew why. It was because she carried my heart with her wherever she went. My heart was in her hands, and carrying her was some form of self-preservation maybe. Holding her, holding me up.

I couldn’t explain it, but I understood it. Made perfect sense to me.

I said it again. “I’ll always find you, Brynne.”

Ethan - Eyes Wide Open

Teaser #4

I stopped dead in my tracks when I spotted her stretched out on the sofa, her e-reader set on her stomach, iPod wired up with music, and just took her in. Her long legs tangled in a throw blanket, an arm stretched over her head, hair spread out beneath her.

Only the light from the city shining in through the bay windows lit the room but it was plenty for me to see her with. She had on a pair of my black silk boxers and a little green top that showed enough of her soft curves to make me hard. It didn’t take much to bring me to life regardless. The more we were forced to spend time apart, the worse I got with irrational need. I wanted her. All the time. Want. Need. Desire. I was losing my mind and I’m pretty sure Brynne knew it. She worried about me and that knowledge just made me love her all the more. I finally had someone who cared for me because of me, not how I looked or how much brass I happened to have.

Her eyes opened and she found me.

I stayed planted at least seven feet from where she was and kicked off my shoes. She sat up on the couch and stretched, arching her back and chest toward me in invitation.

We still hadn’t spoken a word to each other but so much had already been communicated. We were going to go at it like beasts and it would be excruciatingly good. Like always. So...having a mutual strip show, huh?

Sounds goddamn perfect to me.

Me first. I had more clothes to get rid of than she did. I think I was smiling. If it wasn’t showing on the outside, I had a fucking clown grin going on the inside.
I worked the buttons on my shirt slow, watching her watch me as her eyes grew smoky. I shrugged it off my shoulders and let it drop to the floor. I kicked it away with my foot and blinked at her.

Your turn, my beauty.

She did a move that I dearly love, and one she does so well it ought to be illegal. She raised her arms and crossed palms behind her neck and dragged them upward through her hair, flexing her neck in a stretch before bringing her hands back down to the bottom of her skimpy green undershirt. She peeked up at me and paused.

I growled low in my throat. Purely instinctual and utterly impossible to hold in. I needed to devour her right now.

Slowly she pulled the green scrap upward, revealing the satin skin of her stomach, a slight delay over the mounds of her breasts, and then a little bounce as they fell free, and the top went on a little fling through the air. She straightened her arms and set her palms down on the couch.

I took a step closer as I whipped my belt out of the loops and dropped it to the floor with a clank. My tongue rolled over my lips as I imagined how her perfect tits would taste once I got to them. So fucking sweet.

I unbuttoned and unzipped and let my trousers fall off my hips. They got the same kick across the hardwood as my shirt had received.

Brynne stuck two fingers in her mouth and pulled them out slowly, circling one of her nipples, now budded up tight and dark pink.

Sweet Christ, I will surely die tonight.

With the past never really gone, can the future survive?

I live in Florida with my husband and four kids. I’ve always had a love for reading books and writing. In college I majored in English and wanted to teach at the college level, but that was not to be. I went on to get my MBA and became a project manager until quitting to raise my family. I currently work part-time with my husband and recently decided to embrace one of my biggest passions - writing.

I wear a lot of hats! Writer, book-lover, wife, soccer mom, taxi driver, and just the all around go-to person of the family. However, I always find time to read. One of my favorite family outing when my kids were little was to take them to the bookstore or the library. Today my oldest child is seventeen and no longer comes with me on these now rare and infrequent outings, but honestly I don’t need to go on them anymore because I have the greatest device ever invented, a kindle.

I believe in soulmates, kindred spirits, and Happily-Ever-Afters. I have many favorite things ranging from books – to movies – to words. I love to drink champagne and listen to music. I hope to always stay young at heart.

Connected is my debut novel and will be available at Amazon, B&N, iBooks, & Smashwords on March 22nd, 2013.

1000 Likers Winner Post: Charissa Nelson Interview with Raine Miller

When we hit our 1000 likers last Feb 6, my partner and I decided to run an event as our way of thanking all our followers who have continuously supported us throughout this journey. We decided to run a giveaway that will encourage our followers to express their love and gratitude to 3 of our favorite authors, one of them is Raine Miller.

The winning post that we have chosen for Raine is from Charissa Nelson. Apart from the paperback copy of The Undoing of a Libertine and some swags, we have given Charissa the opportunity to ask questions to Raine. Let's check out her interview!

Self-serving libertine Jeremy Greymont likes his sex on the rough side and his women anonymous. Perfectly content milling along through life on an existence of courtesans and fine Scotch whisky, Jeremy has a naughty past and his own demons to contend with, but he’s run out of time with his grandfather regardless. Jeremy needs an heir—posthaste. The lovely Georgina seems like the perfect answer to his predicament and intrigues him like no woman ever before. Jeremy can’t wait to get started on the baby-making and is even willing to tone down his preference for the wild romps he’s always enjoyed. There’s always time to teach her about that later, right?

But Georgina's demons trump Jeremy's in so many ways. A brutal assault has left her damaged and vowing she can be wife to no man—not even Jeremy Greymont. What is a libertine to do?

Raine has done it again! His Perfect Passion was an amazing read, and The Undoing of a Libertine is everything I hoped for and more. Jeremy is all that you could want in a man. Romantic, passionate, naughty *grins*. And Georgina is a wonderfully written character. This book has the perfect amount of lust, romance, and steam along with a story that pulls you in from the beginning! Love it, Raine! Can't wait for the next one.

About Charissa Nelson:

I am a wife and mother of two beautiful girls, 5 and 8. I was born and raised in Missouri. I am a stay at home mom and plan to go back to school to finish my nursing degree in the fall. Reading is my favorite pastime and my girls have inherited my love for books. I have also recently started playing around with jewelry making. My dream would be to someday write a book of my own.

Raine Miller is a New York Times bestselling author who likes to write romantic stories pretty much every chance she gets. She has a handsome husband, and two amazing sons to keep her busy the rest of the time. Her boys know she likes to write stories, but gratefully have never asked to read any. Thank God!

Upcoming Events:

Boston Author Event - March 16, 2013
Romance Novel Convention - Aug 7-11, 2013
Hot Mojave Knights - Oct. 18-20, 2013

Upcoming Releases:

Eyes Wide Open (The Blackstone Affair #3) - May 14, 2013
The Rothvale Legacy - 2013
Unveiling the Muse - 2013
Novella for Ethan & Brynne - Christmas 2013
***Sexy Vampire Erotica Series

1. We all know the gorgeous David Gandy was your muse for Ethan. Did you have any men in mind when you were writing if Jeremy and Darius?

Yes I did. For Darius my muse is a Spanish model named Oriol Elcacho. I saw his picture in an ad one day and knew he was the one. For Jeremy I needed a rougher looking kind of guy. He is not considered typically air is a sandy brown. Someone like a Josh Holloway would work for handsome and has a less refined look, also his Jeremy.

2. Do you have any ideas for future novels/series planned out after The Blackstone series is complete?

Yes. After I write Blackstone #4 I'll be writing The Rothvale Legacy. This series is about Ivan and Gabrielle from Blackstone Affair.

3. Do you have any habits or quirks that help to awake your creative side while writing? A favorite snack? Or certain songs?

I like to take walks in the hills behind my house. I think while I'm out and it really helps me to work through sticky plots or trouble areas for me in the books. Sometimes the perfect idea just comes and I have to repeat it in my head until I get back home. I have to rush up to my computer and write it down STAT. I do have a sunflower seed habit which is bad for me. I try to drink herbal tea as much as possible.

4. What is your favorite book or book series?

Your favorite fictional book character? Lover Unbound by JR Ward. Vishous from Black Dagger Brotherhood.

5. When did you first know that you wanted to become an writer?

Four years ago I just started writing my first story. I don't know why I did it, but there you go. I quickly got addicted to writing. It started with one scene. Then moved onto backstory. Then my goal was to just finish a single book. Then my goal changed to trying to get that book published. In the meantime I had started writing my 2nd story. The 2nd story (Darius & Marianne) was the first work to get a publishing contract.

6. Any advice for aspiring authors?

It sounds dumb but you need to write. A person can talk about writing, take classes on writing, be in writing groups, critique groups, talk to other writers, but in the end, the only thing that will get you there is your ass in the chair writing your own stuff. It's something you need to do daily. Every single day.

7. Do you see any famous actresses, models, etc. as your leading ladies in your novels?

A very young Andie MacDowell would be the perfect Marianne in my head. Georgina could be played perfectly by Clemence Poesy. And Brynne? Someone like Sarah Ann Macklin.

8. What events/book signings do you plan on attending in 2013?

I'll be in Boston in March. RT Convention in May in Kansas City. Vegas in August and again in October. Richmond, Virginia in December.

9. If you had to pick one, what would be your favorite literary quote of all time?

"I almost wish we were butterflies and lived but three summer days. Three such days with you, I could fill with more delight than fifty common years could ever contain." John Keats. 1819 in a letter to Fanny Brawne. They were engaged but he died at 25 years old from Tuberculosis, and sadly before they could marry.

Destiny Ever ~ Changing Review

Tasha Ivey

Well you feel all is lost can love over come?

"Some are destined for greatness . . . others for pure unadulterated misery.

After catching her boyfriend with another woman, Laura struggles with beginning again, knowing deep down that she is destined to be unhappily out of love for her entire life. Needing some time to recoup and formulate a game plan, she decides to visit her notoriously wise grandmother. But once there, a curveball in the form of a deliciously attractive stranger has her falling again.

Brooks is another story altogether. He is quite content with his life until his father forces him into a business decision that will ruin the rest of his life. As if his relationship with his father isn’t tumultuous enough, his new fiancé is making every waking moment a living hell and loving every manipulative minute of it.

When Laura stumbles upon her mother’s old journal, she opens a door into a long forgotten past. A past that somehow leads both Laura and Brooks into unfamiliar territory and changes everything they ever knew about fate.

Destiny is ever-changing, after all."

I am such a sucker for a love story and Destiny Ever – Changing gave me just that.  Tasha Ivey gives us a story of two people that have given up on the fact that love is easy.  But to tell the truth anything worth having never is.  When Laura seeks the comforts of home from her Nana, she finds Brooks “popping” into her life.  Both Laura and Brooks struggle with the feelings this meet queue created.  While Laura is looking to find herself Brooks is just trying to survive.  As the story unfolds both learn that destiny has plans that either one of them planned on.

This is a true love story!  I feel in love with Brook.  He is a stand up man trying to do the right thing even at the cost of his own happiness.  Hello what’s not to LOVE!!!  I enjoyed the fact that you are able to see this story unfold through his eyes as well as Laura.  Both of their personal stories differ but through their pain they find that they cannot fight was destiny has in store.  Destiny Ever – Changing is a must read for all hopeless romantics!  You will love the story and Tasha’s twist on a modern day love story.

4 Stars~

Blog Tour: Second Chance Romance by Sophie Monroe

Julia Kline, known by her friends as Jules, had a rough time growing up with a dad that travelled constantly and a mom that was anything but a mother.

When she’s six she meets her new neighbor Noah Sinclair. The pair quickly become best friends. He looks after her and when they're teenagers their relationship turns romantic. They didn’t account for Jules’ malicious mother stepping in and tearing them apart. Leaving Jules broken hearted.

Present Day:
Jules is going for her master's degree and working as exotic dancer at a high-end gentleman’s club to pay for it. She lives with her best friend from boarding school Ellie, who’s also a dancer. When her boss informs them that the club has been rented out for a bachelor party she thinks it will be just like any other night until she walks out on stage and sees Noah Sinclair. The boy that broke his promises and her heart. To make things worse he’s the bachelor. He tries to get her to talk to him but she’s stronger now and blows him off. But he wants answers too. Throw in a crazy fiancé, a couple of hilarious best friends and enjoy the ride. Will Noah and Jules get their second chance or will the past decide the future?

Does love always deserve a second chance?

Jules and Noah’s story started when they were kids. They used to live next door to each other and Noah knew from the first time he laid his eyes on Jules that she was the one. They grew up together, became really good friends and eventually fell in love.

Noah has always been her rock and hero. The one that she runs to whenever she’s in trouble with Abigail, her witch mom. Just when they thought that everything in their relationship is going smoothly, Jules’ wicked mother ripped them apart the moment she learned about their relationship. As selfish as she is, Abigail took the opportunity to take Jules away from the only person that she felt safe with.

They have lived their lives separately leaving Jules torned and broken. Noah promised to keep in touch; that they would never make distance a hindrance to their plans. But that never happened…

Until one day they meet again in a very unlikely situation that will suddenly push them to jolt back into each other’s touch.

Will this be a perfect opportunity for them to rekindle their old flame?

Or will this finally lead them to accept that they are not meant for each other?

"Noah, please don't make me fall for you if you don't plan on catching me."

"I want this to be our second chance Jules. I won't let anyone or anything stand in the way of that.

I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed this book. Reluctant to read it first for some reasons that I thought it will just be my ordinary love story where girl meets boy, boy meets girl and they find their happy ending, this book however went off in a totally different direction.

Sophie Monroe’s Second Chance Romance stirs to unfold the reality of true love, plumbs the depth, it’s warmth and its meaning. Although there were some predictable moments, Sophie had a few surprises up her sleeve. A solidly written story about friendship, love lost and found again. Most of the parts are very relatable, which will make you drop a tear in one page and smile in another.

Despite issues concerning sequencing of events and formatting, I believe this book has great potential and the author did a very good job in developing the characters all through out the story.

If you are a sucker for a love lost story with a very realistic ending, then this one is for you. This book is a great reminder of how beautiful it is to fall in love – even if it is for a second time around.

4/5 Stars for me.

Everybody knows we love trailers and music. And while we read and make our reviews, we always make it a point to have music on the side that constantly reminds us about the characters' emotions and basically describes how the story unfolds.

So here's the list of songs I thought would be fitting for Jules and Noah's struggle for their Second Chance Romance...

About the Author:

Sophie Monroe is a New Jersey native just starting out her writing adventure. She has always been a night owl with a creative side. Her books often reflect both her sense of humor and sarcasm.

She tries to communicate on the fact that "life's too short" in her stories. Bad things happen in life it's inevitable, but pick yourself up and dust yourself off and move forward. Nothing can hold you down, unless you choose to let it.

She also loves to incorporate meaningful quotes that she hopes will inspire her readers (or at least give them a good laugh.)

Blog Tour: The Submission of Alistair Ingram Review and Book Trailer + GIVEAWAYS

Blurb:

Movie star Alistair Ingram strolled into Dolls & Doms private men's club in Las Vegas for his bachelor party and limped out with a torn shirt, red welts covering his chest and a broken engagement splashed all over the pages of every celebrity magazine in the country.

A session with club Dominatrix, Black Betty, will do that to a man.

With Alistair's manager breathing down his neck and Black Betty's abusive ex-husband alerted to where she's been hiding for the past ten years, there's only one thing to do:

Lie.

And get the hell out of Las Vegas.

But the real ruse is on Alistair and Black Betty, because despite both of their best efforts, they've gotten under each other's skin. Can their explicit dance of domination and submission end in anything other than disaster?
THE SUBMISSION OF ALISTAIR INGRAM is the first in a novella series from www.DollsandDoms.blogspot.com, where erotic tales from the Dolls & Doms private men’s club are told in weekly episodes.

REVIEW:

I have loved this series ever since. A staple ingredient for my smutty Thursday menu, I would sit and patiently wait for the newest episode of Dolls and Doms, and having the complete recipe in one novella just literally blew me away!

Kelli Maine surely knows how to write a good book, interesting plot, great love scenes that will leave her readers begging for more. Not your usual DOM/SUB story, Kelli Maine has touched the issues of trust, lust and love between two lost souls, locked in their pasts and who definitely gets an “A” for playing an act their whole lives.

Will they be able to move past it  and finally have the power to control their own lives? That’s the million dollar question.

Black Betty works in a private club in Las Vegas as a female DOM who gives men the pleasure to submit to her wicked games. But behind this act is a seriously damaged woman who suffers from an abusive relationship. Until that one fateful night, when she finally meets someone who will change her life forever.

"I've been a bad bad girl," she whispered. "And you're a bad bad boy who needs broken." - Black Betty

"Maybe I don't want to be a nice guy anymore. Maybe I want you to teach me to be bad, Ms. Black. Maybe I want you to take me into the darkness." - Alistair

Alistair Ingram is a cocky, arrogant, playful movie star but behind the facade is a gorgeous man with a heart of gold. Trying to make it big in Hollywood, Alistair’s life has become a cliché, letting everyone in the business control his life and happiness.

" I told you, you don't have to be afraid of me. I'd never hurt you." - Alistair

"What if I want vanilla with chocolate sauce? A sprinkle of nuts? Some whipped cream with a cherry on top?" - Alistair

Their connection was instant and real. Drawn to each other like magnets, Alistair sees right through Betty and she knows she cannot pull a fast one to him and lie, like what she always do.But Alistair was different, he felt the need to protect her and Betty felt safe with him, forcing her to finally break down her walls and start trusting again.

"Don't mistake attraction for trust. I don't know you. I don't trust you. You shouldn't trust me." - Bethany

"I want to give this to you because I can. Because you can trust me not to hurt you." - Alistair

Will they survive the push-pull relationship? The back and forth feeling of wanting to be close to someone and yet feeling the need to escape from potentially being hurt and abandoned at the end?

"There's no hero in this story, and no happy ending. You need to believe that." - Bethany

The story was short but it has everything I wanted and needed. Never a dull moment. It has a little bit of everything that will make you laugh, smile, cry and swoon at the same time from the romantic, smexy scenes that were tastefully written. I love how Alistair has shown Betty his pure love and affection. For a girl like Betty with a dark past, it would be very difficult to find someone who will genuinely love her for who she is and its really not easy for someone like Alistair to be trapped in that kind of situation. But he did a very good job in that department and I really really love him for that brave act.

You won’t believe that I actually read it 3 times! Yes! 3 times and I still get the same sweating chills and hot flashes. Unbelievable!

Oh! did I tell you about the shower scene? Well in case you didn't know, I'm a big sucker for anything with shower scene. I don't know but for me its one of the most sensual locations for a love scene. And this book didn't fail to give as such! makes me wanna sing this song...

This is an easy 5 star for me and I can’t wait to get my hands on the next one.
Kelli Maine, you are simply adorable!
